How to convert FLV to GIF, JPG or BMP:

To convert FLV to GIF (or other image formats) perform the following:

- Install SWF & FLV Toolbox after downloading it right from this website;
- Start the application and either stay at "Convert one file" tab or switch to "Convert many files" one;
- Click "Browse" button to find and choose the original FLV file you want to convert to GIF;
- Select the output format by choosing "convert to images" option;
- After you have selected the original Flash video you can choose where to save image series after conversion process;
- Now just click "Convert" button and wait for a little while. Note, that by default it is JPEG files you receive after conversion. Read further to find out how to get GIF format as output.

Of course there is always some space for customization of the result. Press "Show Advanced settings" button and here you can do the following:

- Choose one of the image formats you want to receive output in: JPEG, GIF, BMP or animated GIF;
- Convert interactively if original FLV or SWF requires it;
- Obtain the output images in grayscale and more
- After choosing all the desired settings, press "Convert" button;
- Wait while the application is processing your file and receive "File converted successfully" message;

    - If "Add controls" box is not checked, the resulting file will contain a watermark.

    - It's impossible to change ICO filename ("Common" tab). Instead you'll get "These settings cannot be applied in DEMO mode" message.
